IARC revised "Monographs on Identification of Carcinogenic Hazards to Humans" website (Volumes 1-125)

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), the cancer research agency of the World Health Organization, revised its website "Monographs on the Identification of Carcinogenic Hazards to Humans" on December 12, 2019.

This revision is to notify the publication of full paper (online version) of "Monographs Vol. 122: Isobutyl Nitrite, β-Picoline, and Some Acrylates".

In June 2018, Methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, technical-grade TMPTA, and isobutyl nitrite were classified as "possibly carcinogenic to humans" (Group 2B), and β-picoline was evaluated as "not classifiable as to its carcinogenicity to humans" (Group 3).

  •    * The most recent version of the Monographs is still "Vol.125: Some Industrial Chemical Intermediates and Solvents" and there is no change in the carcinogenic hazard categories for EMFs.
