European EMF Forum (EEMFF) will organize the 1st conference "7 years of experience with the EMF directive" in November 2020

Recently, the European Electromagnetic Fields Forum (EEMFF, www.baua.de/eemff) has constituted as a network of experts and institutions for occupational safety and health in the field of EMF. The network aims to provide an overview of and enhance the implementation of the EMF Directive (2013/35/EU) in the EU member states.
In order to enlarge and nourish this network, the organizing committee will organize the 1st EEMFF conference, titled "7 years of experience with the EMF directive". At times of the EU council presidency of Germany, it will be held from 23rd to 24th of November 2020 in Dortmund, Germany.
The conference is a combination of:
- Plenary lectures (including contributions by the European Commission, EMF-industry, and EMF-research)
- "In-depth" workshops
- Poster Session
- Theme of "In-depth" Workshops:

- Best practice in exposure assessment (qualification, equipment, uncertainty, …)
- Workers at particular risk (assessing active/passive implants, pregnant workers, …)
- New and complex sources (technology trends, future of occupational EMF research)
- Evolving the EMF Directive (potential impact of ICNIRP guidelines, …)
- Role of standardisation to enhance implementation of the EMF Directive (reasonable foreseeable use, compliance testing of 5G equipment, …)
