French ANFR published the first results of measurements of public exposure to airwaves, carried out before and after commissioning of 5G

updated: 26 January, 2022.
The National Frequency Agency (ANFR) publishes an analysis of more than 3000 measurements of public exposure to waves carried out in 2020 and 2021. Half of these measurements were carried out near sites identified to accommodate 5G antennas, before they are put into service. The other half of the measurements were taken at the same location, after 5G was put into service, thus making it possible to precisely identify the evolution of exposure linked to this new network. All the frequency bands currently used in 5G have been studied. The results show that the exposure is comparable before and a few months after the introduction of 5G.
