French ANSES issues call for project on the topic of "radiofrequencies and health"

21 November 2022

French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (ANSES) is issuing two calls for projects as part of the National Research Programme for Environmental and Occupational Health (PNR EST). The first is dedicated to the themes of environmental and occupational health while the second deals more specifically with the topic of “radiofrequencies and health”. Their aim is to finance research work on current health issues associated with multiple environmental exposures.

The "radiofrequencies and health" call for projects focuses on four areas of work:
- the mechanisms of action of radiofrequencies at the cellular and molecular levels,
- their possible physiological or health effects,
- electromagnetic hypersensitivity,
- the characterisation of uses of and exposure to radiofrequencies in real-life situations.

The PNR EST 2023 "radiofrequencies and health" calls for project is open 17 January 2023.
