Sweden: Swedish Radiation Safety Authority (SSM)
The Swedish Radiation Safety Authority (SSM) reports to the Ministry of Climate and Enterprise and has mandates from the Swedish Government within the areas of nuclear safety, radiation protection, security, and nuclear non-proliferation.
SSM works proactively and preventively in order to protect people and the environment from the undesirable effects of radiation, now and in the future.

SSM's Scientific Council on electromagnetic Fields monitors current research on potential health risks in relation to exposure to electromagnetic fields and provides the Authority with advice on assessing possible health risks.
