International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP)
International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) is an independent international scientific organization with international experts who develop guidelines for protection from non-ionizing radiation. It was founded in 1992. The forerunner of ICNIRP was International Non-ionizing Radiation Committee of the International Radiation Protection Association (IRPA/INIRC).
ICNIRP Guidelines
- Static Magnetic Fields Guidelines
- Guidelines for Limiting Exposure to Electric Fields Induced by Movement of the Human Body in a Static Magnetic Field and by Time-Varying Magnetic Fields below 1 Hz.
- Low-frequency Electromagnetic Fields Guidelines (1 Hz - 100 kHz)
- Radio-frequency Electromagnetic Fields Guidelines (100 kHz - 300 GHz)
ICNIRP Statements
- A Description of ICNIRP's Independent, Best Practice System of Guidance on the Protection of People and the Environment from Exposure to Non-Ionizing Radiation
- Health Issues Associated with Millimeter Wave Whole Body Imaging Technology
- Amendment to the ICNIRP "Statement on Medical Magnetic Resonance (MR) Procedures: Protection of Patients"
