Organization and Operations
JEIC is organized within the General Incorporated Foundation Japan Electrical Safety & Environment Technology Laboratories (JET)*.
To ensure and monitor the neutrality and transparency of JEIC's operations, an Administrative Audit Committee has been established as a supervisory body. The Administrative Audit Committee acts an advisory body to the President of JET, and the Director of JEIC respects the decisions of the Administrative Audit Committee to the fullest extent through the President. With this structure, JEIC aims to operate as a top-level international risk communication center with expert knowledge on electromagnetic fields.

Group Structure and Responsibilities
Information Research Group
The group collects and analyses information on electromagnetic fields, and also builds and maintain an information and research database on electromagnetic fields.
- It gathers various kinds of information on electromagnetic fields, both domestic and international, quickly and accurately while coordinating with related organizations.
- The obtained information is organized through translation, summary creation, and other necessary means, and is then registered in the database.
- It conducts analysis and evaluation of various kinds of information with the advice of experts, and examines whether there are new issues that need to be addressed.
Communication Strategy Group
The group performs tasks related to the provision of information on electromagnetic fields, education, and responding inquiries.
- It disseminates information tailored to specific needs.
- Activities include holding seminars, managing websites, issuing brochures, and distributing short videos and social media content.
- It also provides free lecturers to schools, local governments and workplaces.
Administration Group
The group manages all aspects of JEIC's operations, including contracts entrusted by public institutions.
